



Kolkata, 30th July, 2023 saw the Bharat Scouts and Guides indulge with the greenery.
On Sunday ‘The Van Mahotsav’ took place where the Bharat Scouts and Guides with the association of The Rotary Club of Calcutta South City organized a very special event for the children to come in contact with nature.
The purpose of this day was to educate people on how we can save our earth and children can engage themselves by looking after the plant.
Mrs. Aruna Ghosh of The Bharat Scouts and Guides and Mr. Joydeep Sur, the President of the Rotary Club with Mr. Shyamal Biswas, the Chief Commissioner of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, India organized this event and planted over 100 saplings of different kinds to grow and let the children indulge in this initiative.
A very special day with the teachers and students celebrating the day with a prayer service followed with a speech and dance performance, later with the children going to plant the saplings.
