Today, The Food Corporation of India–All India Managers’ Association (FCI-AIMA) successfully organised its first East Zone Zonal Conference at the ICMARD Building in Ultadanga,Kolkata.
The conference brought together managerial representatives & delegates from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and Sikkim to discuss key administrative, operational and service-related issues concerning managers of the Food Corporation of India.
Held under the theme “Empowering Managers, Protecting Potentials,” the conference focused on career progression, pay restructuring, transfer policy reforms and challenges faced by managers in field-level operations.
Participants also discussed the need for a fair and transparent transfer policy, improved promotional opportunities & appropriate pay upgradation. The delegates deliberated on various service-related issues & worked towards formulating collective resolutions to be presented before the concerned authorities.
The conference concluded with an open discussion involving members, focusing on future organisational priorities also strengthening coordination across the East Zone.
The FCI-AIMA leadership reiterated its commitment to employee welfare while contributing towards greater efficiency &
institutional strengthening of the Food Corporation of India.
