The upcoming tour of the Punjabi Singer Shubhneet Singh, popularly known as Shubh was cancelled by BookMyShow on September 20, days after he made headlines for his alleged support for Khalistan and separatists. This decision came shortly after the singer posted a distorted image of India’s map on his Instagram handle, that omitted the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir , Punjab and the Northeastern states. Thereafter he garnered criticism from numerous individuals. He had plans to tour various Indian cities, commencing with Mumbai on September 23. The ticketing platform BookMyShow , which was handling ticket sales for Shubh’s event has posted this news on their X formerly known as twitter handle stating “Singer Shubhneet Singh’s Still Rollin Tour for India stands cancelled. To that end, BookMyShow has initiated a complete refund of the ticket amount for all consumers who had purchased tickets for the show. The refund will be reflected within 7-10 working days in the customer’s source account of the original transaction.”
