Kisaanka Agriaqua, an innovative agri and aqua tech startup incubated by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park and powered by NEEDP, North Eastern Council, Government of India, has officially launched its much-anticipated Kisaanka Kids Book Series — A collection of four engaging and beautifully illustrated e-books designed to bring children closer to nature, food, and farming.
The launch event, held in Kolkata, 1st November at South Kolkata Club, celebrated the themes of sustainability, creativity, and curiosity, perfectly aligning with Kisaanka’s mission to reconnect the next generation with the roots of agriculture. Through imaginative storytelling and art, the Kisaanka Kids Book Series encourages children to understand and appreciate the soil, seeds, and cycles of life that sustain our planet.
Speaking at the event, representatives from Kisaanka emphasized that the initiative is not just about books but about building awareness and empathy for the environment among young readers. The series seeks to plant seeds of responsibility and respect for nature in young minds — nurturing both learning and ecological consciousness.
Kisaanka Agriaqua, recently honored as the “Best Agritech Startup of the Year” by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi, continues to integrate innovation with education. The company has been at the forefront of blending technology, sustainability, and social impact in the agricultural space.
The launch was attended by renowned personalities,educators, actor, model, Ms. Richa Sharma, environmentalist, Mr Soumendra Mohan Ghosh , parents, and other dignitaries who lauded the effort to make agriculture relatable and exciting for children.
