The devastating Delhi blast has now affected Bollywood as well. The tragic explosion that took place on Monday evening claimed several lives, casting a shadow of grief across the country. As a result, the trailer launch event of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film “Dhurandhar” has been postponed.
The trailer was scheduled to release on November 12, and all preparations had already been completed. However, in light of the tragic situation, the film’s production house decided not to hold any celebratory event. They announced on social media,
> “We express our deepest condolences to the victims of the Delhi blast. This is not a time for celebration. Therefore, the trailer launch of Dhurandhar has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon.”
Industry sources have also mentioned that concern over veteran actor Dharmendra’s health has added to the atmosphere of unease in Bollywood. Out of respect for his family as well, the makers reportedly decided to delay the event.
Meanwhile, the shooting of Ranveer Singh’s other film, “Cocktail 2,” has also been halted. The shoot was supposed to begin within a few days, but it had already been delayed earlier due to Delhi’s severe air pollution. Following the blast, the team decided to suspend filming entirely for safety reasons.
Overall, the Delhi blast has cast a deep shadow over the entertainment industry. Film promotions, releases, and shootings have all been put on hold for now.
According to reports, the explosion occurred near Red Fort at around 6:52 p.m. on Monday.
