After an extended hospital stay, Dharmendra has returned home to begin his post-treatment recovery. On Monday, his longtime friend Shatrughan Sinha, accompanied by his wife Poonam, paid a warm visit to actor-politician and former colleague Hema Malini — Dharmendra’s wife and family spokesperson to check on his well-being.

The meeting was documented on social media by Shatrughan Sinha, who shared photographs from the visit and included a heartfelt message. He wrote that with Poonam, He had gone “to meet, greet & God-bless our very dear family friend, one of the finest human beings
, star/actor with par excellence, artist of the highest calibre, an able Parliamentarian.” He extended his thoughts to the entire family, and requested them to “be well”.
Hospital Stay & Recovery.
Dharmendra had been admitted at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital from October 31 and was discharged on November 12. His family subsequently issued a statement asking the public and media to respect their privacy while he recovers at home, expressing gratitude for the love and wishes they have received.
Friendship &Film-History.
Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra have shared screen space in a number of notable Bollywood films, including “Teesri Aankh” (1982), “Aag Hi Aag” (1987), “Zalzala” (1988) and “Shehzaade” (1989), among others. The bond between them spans both cinema and politics.
