Mumbai|29thJanuary2026:

A wave of sorrow has reportedly gripped Mumbai’s Worli neighbourhood following the tragic aircraft crash near Baramati involving a chartered flight on Tuesday morning. Among those said to be on board was flight attendant Ms. Pinky Mali, whose sudden passing has left her family, friends, and colleagues devastated. The flight was also reported to be carrying senior political leader Sri Ajit Pawar, making the incident a subject of widespread public attention and grief.
Talking through shock & heartbreak, Pinky’s father, Shivkumar Mali, recalled what he says was their final conversation. According to him, Pinky had called just a day earlier to share her travel plans. She told him she would be flying to Baramati with Ajit Pawar & would later continue on to Nanded. At the time, it sounded like a routine work update something she often did before assignments. Neither of them imagined it would be their last exchange.
Family members shared that Pinky had been travelling frequently for work in recent months and had been part of several important flights. She was known for her highest level of professionalism, she took great pride in her role as a flight attendant and approached every duty with sincerity and dedication. Her commitment to her job earned her the trust of both colleagues and passengers.
Neighbours remember her as warm, hardworking, and deeply devoted to her family. Her reported loss has left a painful void at home and in the community, where she was admired for her discipline and bright spirit.
As loved ones struggle to come to terms with the tragedy, Pinky is being remembered not only as a dedicated aviation professional but also as a daughter whose life was filled with promise and purpose.
