Industry leaders at the annual Eastern Region conference of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Kolkata, emphasized that trust, efficiency, innovation
and agile leadership are key to sustaining growth in a rapidly changing business environment.
Sanjiv Goenka of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group stressed the importance of strong processes and stakeholder confidence, while Shobana Kamineni of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd highlighted innovation and expansion in Tier-2 cities as signs of India’s growth.
Sanjiv Puri of ITC Ltd spoke about “vision, value, and vitality” driving progress, and R Mukundan of Tata Chemicals Ltd said leadership must be rooted in trust and continuous transformation.
In later sessions, startup leaders stressed quick decision-making and adoption of new technologies, while actor Huma Qureshi and cricket expert Tom Moody highlighted India’s growing global cultural and sporting influence.
