Free Eye Check-up Camp with Specs,Gifts Distribution Bring Smiles to Children in KMC- Ward 93.

A free eye check-up camp along with a gift distribution programme for underprivileged children was successfully organized at Devi Sangha Club, 8, Rahim Ostagar Road, Kolkata-700045,( Jodhpur Park) under KMC Ward No. 93 on Saturday.

The humanitarian initiative was led by Ms.Tandrani Das Dey, a prominent social worker of Ward 93 and an old active BJP member, along with her dedicated associates of her home ward.The programme was conducted from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM with the objective of promoting eye health awareness among local residents while spreading happiness among children from economically weaker sections.

A large number of residents availed themselves of the free eye check-up facility, where medical professionals conducted preliminary vision screenings & provided basic eye-care guidance.This wasn’t the end. It was also seen a Wheelchair was donated to a handicapped man who lives in this locality.The initiative was appreciated by the local community for making essential healthcare services easily accessible.

One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of gifts to needy children. The children were seen smiling with excitement and gratitude as they received their gifts, creating a joyful & heartwarming atmosphere.Their happiness reflected the true spirit of community service and compassion.

Speaking on the occasion, Tandrani reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Ward 93 on a continuous manner through welfare-oriented initiatives. She stated that such programmes not only provide essential assistance but also strengthen the bond between the community and those working for public welfare.

Local residents praised the efforts of Tandrani Das Dey & her team, describing the event as a meaningful initiative that combined healthcare, social responsibility & care for children.The successful programme concluded with appreciation from attendees, who expressed hope for more such community welfare activities in the future.
